Not Briskers best game, but he was left on an island more than a few times in the run game. The D-Line was Swiss cheese and Linebackers weren't much better. Everyone looked a bit slow on the front 7.

Along with Gordon, I thought Jaylon Jones played admirably. Allen probably thought he'd have an easier time going up against our secondary, but they held their ground. For Setphon Diggs to do essentially nothing until the 4th quarter was remarkable.

I agree with your analysis and is why I'm ok and leaning towards the fall back draft spot option personally. We are not a POTENTIAL nfl stud away from anything at this point. We need depth and talent. Starts on the line if their disruptive it ripples through the LB and secondary every down.

I don't think they're far off in the secondary.

A signing like Dean makes it a real strength with decent young depth

Johnson
Dean
Gordon
Jones (dime/outside cb backup)
Blackwell (st ace + decent 5th cb)

Jackson
Brisker
DHC
Hicks

That said...a good dline/pass rush also helps this group out if a top tier cb isn't signed
