Wow...all you Ben Gordon haters saying we're better off with Johnny Salmons....

Not looking too good so far are you?

Ben Gordon's averaging 24 a game at the moment.

WHY DID WE GET RID OF THIS GUY!?

Allen Iverson going to the Grizzlies makes more sense.

But BG is short, can't play defense and destroys ball movement. Clearly we are much better off without him. He is a greedy little midget. We will be so much better next year when we sign Bron, Wade, Howard and Bosh with our cap space.

I expect both players to play better, but it is frustrating to watch them now. For them to struggle as they are is maddening. But at some point Rose will learn to adjust to whatever defenses throw at him.

The idea for the Bulls going in are to tread water, get to the playoffs, and get somebody big next summer. I think that they have shown that they will do better than that. They had many of the same troubles in the past...good defense, inconsistent jump shooting...hopefully things will get better sooner than later.

  1. Chicago Bears

We could've used Gordon tonight that's for sure. At least we would be able to score more than 90 points in a game for once...

I knew Gordon leaving would hurt our 3pt shooting but I never imagined by this much. Plus Salmons and Hinrich decided that they would not make an open shot to save their lives for whatever reason. To make Fred happy I guess (but not really because Fred is clearly pissed) that he was right...

Time to step it up guys...any day now

I don't think there was a single person anywhere who claimed that Salmons was a better offensive player than Gordon.

well now that gordon is gone, we'll have more shots available for kirk, salmon, and deng.

That should lead to much better results considering kirk, salmons and deng are much better shooters. Particularly from three point range. And it is a 100% clear that BG was holding rose back offensively too. I also heard that every time BG shoots, a kitten dies.

It was easily predictable but people still were adamant we didnt need Ben. Ohh well while i'm not ready to give up totally on Kirk and Salmons as its still only 8 games in, I think this is just a sign of whats to come this season

Bottom line is we cant cry over whats happened. We just have to accept it and hope that both players step it up from the outside or we get a good trade or signing

Exactly, you are right. Bernie Madoff would have been fine with clients like you.

Engies does give a common sense approach...what do you suggest we do?

I've going to ask Steve Gorches to come back on the Bullseye and make a public apology.

I suggest we remember out mistakes instead of having them stricken from the record by the almighty oz if thats what jr calls himself these days. Perhaps, letting go of our leading scorers over and over might bite us in the ass one of these days.

Let me be clear, this is one of the few times I'm absolutely miserable about being right. I am very happy about Noah's progress and Deng's agressiveness on the offensive boards. This year could have been something special.

With this aggressiveness and the rumored TT and kirk for Boozer deal, we could have been a contender.

Well what do you suggest, whinge and complain all year like some people? Why can't people just get to hoping for a free agent instead of dwelling on some bizarro world alternate history where we keep Gordon? No point looking back, there are no take backs on player moves.

they need to start looking for shooters in the draft, and start thinking about phone calls to make. i dont care what anyone says, hinrich is a decent player on the wrong team. he's a pg, not a shooting guard.

Special how? They need a great player to contend...otherwise, they are where they will be for the year...the NBA version of Purgatory...

Clearly we must believe managements view that loosing our leading scorer continuely will never have an adverse consequence. At some point a line in the sand needs to be drawn. BG is my line in the sand and will be fought for and remembered. Also what fa are we getting exactly? JJ, Amare or Boozer for max money? I can't see a wade or bron or bosh ending up here, they will end up staying or going to fl together like in 2000.
