One time bonus of $1800.

So the question is, what should I spend it on?

I'm thinking an XBox 360 and Madden 12. But that still leaves like a million dollars or so left over. I'mma probably save $500 or so for Christmas. What should I do w/ the other $1000ish?

The grocery store I work at got bought out by Schnucks today, so I have to reapply for a job I've had for 5 years.... no thank you.

ahh well, you'll get the job. Typically 95% of staff is retained in a move like that. Honestly, it's often a good thing, the dead weight/shitty employees don't get hired back b/c the new owners have absolutely no obligation/loyalty to them.

Save it for a rainy day. It's always nice to have 1,000 sitting around "just in case" something comes up

Congratulations though man.

With today's economy the way it is, saving about half would be a good decision.

Agreed about saving it. I've got 2 savings accounts and a checking acct. 1 savings acct just has $1000 that stays there in case of a rainy day something. The other is kind of like a Christmas Club acct, tho we're about 3/4 the way done w/ Christmas shopping.

I'm strongly considering an XBox tomorrow...and I've got some dental work that needs to be done. The rest will go in the Christmas account I believe...and hopefully I can buy my wife a Motorola Xoom or some other tablet PC for Christmas.
