i'm in the same boat, brother. i downloaded cs3 awhile back, and i have yet to use it because i have no idea wtf is going on. i just have to wait to get back to school and have my roommate's girlfriend teach me. haha.

anyhow, there are some tutorials on youtube and stuff that might be able to get you started... i just couldn't find what i was trying to do, so i gave up.
