Soriano was pretty bad. .325 wOBA, < .300 OBP. These are more telling than HR and RBI.

Demp had a < 4 FIP and xFIP. He K'd nearly 1/inning. His September really skewed his stats.

But would Sandberg or any other manager done any better? No. Can't fault Quade for being dealt a shit hand.

Any manager who allows Pujols to hit back to back HR to win games deserves an F-...Again il throw out the Pena argument with Soriano. Soriano had basically same or better stats then Sorianio in every category BUT Walks. SO he gets B while Sori get D...funny

Why? Marms worse or better grade? Soriano worse or better? why A-ram worse? Guy was 2nd best 3B in baseball

i think marms should be a D+ just because he has deteriorated quite a bit and seems to have control issues as well as not being able to close out games well...


A-Ram is a B+ because he is lazy on D..plus i dont like giving just hard letter grades...B and a C is a huge jump depending on the standard....plus he gave castro the same grade as A Ram and honestly i disagree with that

Soriano is meh on D but still was overall productive offensively...

i think he's a C+ or C

Compare him to most CFs.

I'm alright with those numbers plus he missed awhile with getting hit in the face.

Byrd is by far the least of our problems.

Cubs already have a CF that is better that would make 6 mil less. Jackson could hit 15 HR, steal 20 bags, ACTUALLY TAKE WALKS. Sorry but Byrd is one of the problems. Again he hit under .150 with runners in scoring position. He was in middle of order all year and ended less then 40 RBI..A joke

That's on Quade and he gets a D-.

If he didn't miss that time he'd be right around 10-12 HRs and 75 rbi.

I'm all for giving BJax a shot just for Byrd's case. Not a big problem.

Il give u the HR but NO WAY he doubles his RBI in about 150 AB. 6th or 7th spot is exactly what kind of hitter he is. He just an AVG player at everything. Avg cont, Avg power, Avg DEF, no steals. Sorry il argue all day and nite reason Cubs blow is cause of players like Byrd. Stop signing the medicore players. Sign the Studs and bring up players that are AVG. thats how you win
