Cause Hauptman is cheap and doesn't want to lose PR ratings, so he tries to cover it up.

What's worse is that we loaned him out for free. GREAT not only do we lose one of our best players we got NOTHING for him.

It's just unbelieveable how they handled it.

But with free transfers we get to keep his rights if or whenever he comes back to MLS (assuming loan is for entire season), or is that only for non-loan free transfers?

It's a one year loan and there is NO chance that he returns to play of us ever again. That way he was treated he would be crazy to return to play here again, unless he's paid as a DP (that's not going to happen).
