I don't mind brokers as much as their bullshit fees.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
So help me understand this guys? I live in canada where the Leafs are way over priced but season ticketers and brokers still get their $ and above even with already high ticket prices for a team that hasn't won a round in 15 years.
But the Hawks are worried about their season ticket ppl now? by reading the article I understand that brokers are letting tickets below market value? So how does this make it worse? This sounds like the season ticket ppl are pissed cause they can't get face value? and the hawks are worried now, yet by seeing upper bowl tickets at standard ticket is 60.00 and lowers still in the 120.00 range for a team that is rebuilding after gouging the fans for years they want to care about the fans. I 'd say lower tickets or ppl just don't show up that will hurt em.

Am I reading this right? or is there more to this story?

Yes. They are trying to protect the season ticket holders. Not just for them not being able to give their tickets away but they are asking the Hawks why they should even bother getting season tickets if they can just buy on the open market cheaper and better.
