Could I get any more excited? How Could I! I was about to go celebrate the 2010 Stanley Cup Championship with my friend and hundreds of thousands of other Hawks fans. Me and my friend are jacked so we want to get there about an hour before it starts. We are at the train station and there are like a few hawks fans there. As the minutes go by more and more show up. We here a voice from the PA system and he says there is a 6 minute delay because the cars were so crowded. So were excited, that means the train has to be coming any minute. Every couple of minutes I check my phone and and the time is flying but No train? Eventually like 30 minutes later the guy says, "There is a police situation near the Glen Ellyn Station" (my stop) every couple of minutes the same announcement comes on. AN hour later after no info we finally find out that a train hit a car right before our stop. At 9:15 we see the train coming and we are pumped, and everyone is clapping, unfortunately the train didn't stop! We are freaking out, 5 minutes later we see another so we are like here we go! Once again train doesn't stop. We then find out that next train would come at 10. Unfortunately I had basketball at 1 and all the trains coming back were delayed. So I took my self home on the 1 mile walk and went into my room and watched the thing on TV. lol.
