To all my fellow patriots, I wish you a happy and healthy 4th of July.

This is a great weekend. The local private gun club I belong to is having a weekend long festival which includes shooting, instruction from the Sheriffs department, free food, political speeches from local politicians, and fun for old and young alike. I am surprised at how many young people love this country. All we see on TV and on message boards are the haters. It's not like that here where I live... The owner, who has a FFL, brought out his M60 and people were having fun shooting it.. Members only!.
I took a ride thru town early this morning and all I saw were American flags everywhere. Homes and business alike were flying old glory.
Not one flag burning..Not one BLM flag...Not one Antifa presence anywhere. No hate signs of any kind, and definitely no businesses burned out from rioters.

So again, to all American loving patriots, Happy 4th of July. Enjoy the day as I know I will..

But srs happy 4th. I went to my new neighbors BBQ last night (@PrideisBears knows wassup) no problem with a black lives matter flag right next to old glory. We blew up a lot of fireworks and someone had an AK but nobody shot it. My kids are going back today to enjoy the 50 ft bouncy castle with their new friends.

The local VFW had an unplanned gun show Friday. A couple of assholes shot at the place over 100 times killing one teenager.Really surprised the guys inside didn't shoot back. Tonight should be special.

Since having kids, the 4th of July has quickly become my favorite holiday.

Why? There's no real music. It's a true, one day event. No presents, minimal decorations, no real emotional buildup. Simply put, it's fun and simple. Couple all that with the warm weather, the neighborhood opening itself up to one another and the fireworks, it's awesome. It's also one of the few days a year the biz is closed which makes the day even easier.

I freaking love the 4th of July.
