Youngest sister invited my dad & I over for breakfast...at 11:30 am.

Eggs, bacon, hash browns & toast...so, no complaints, as that is my favorite breakfast.

For those who believe...happy Easter.

For those who don't...have a great day tomorrow with family and friends.

Don't "believe" , but still happy to celebrate holidays with the fam.

I was surprised at the number of places that were closed yesterday. I don’t remember ever getting Easter off when I worked in retail.

Amazingly the faux outrage of making people work on Easter instead of spending time with their families was noticeably absent compared to how loud it was last year over making people work on Thanksgiving.

Looks great, bro. That top pic is lamb, correct?

My Ex's father is Muslim, I did a leg of lamb for him on Father's day a couple years back. Lightly smoked it with fresh rosemary and lemon, then grilled it at the very end for a couple minutes. I'm not a big fan of lamb, though. You guys use a yogurt sauce or mint jelly for the meat?

Yeah the top is lamb, for Easter Greeks typically cook it on the spit, but if I am cooking lamb strictly for taste I rather get legs of lamb or lamb chops. Cooking a full lamb like that can be a little gamey, but I can tear through some grilled lamb chops. In the bottom picture the two platters of meat is the finished product. And we didn't even portion out the full lamb. I prefer tzatziki (the yogurt sauce) over mint jelly, but I like tzatziki on almost anything.

You don’t have to be religious to want to spend time with your family on a holiday.

Yet I didn’t hear of a single person complaining about having to work on Sunday compared to the dozens of articles I kept reading about people being made to work on Thanksgiving and the reminiscing of the “old days” when every business closed their doors on holidays.
