Our very own Little Bubbleheadchief has a lot to celebrate this week. He is retiring after spending 20 years of service in the Navy and will be celebrating his 43rd birthday on Sunday Dec 5th, His last day at work is today and he had his ceremony and party this week although his actual discharge date is the end of January. I hope you will all give him the double dose of Bubble Lovin' that he deserves.

This is the last time I get to say this so indulge me. Hey Sailor, (the way I often greet him) go out and enjoy your life. I wish you and Lisa and Christian the best of everything as you set out on your new adventure. However, I still expect you to be around here for me to bounce things off of. You have been like my compass these last three years and I consider you a treasured friend even when you're an arrogant ass.

Happy Birthday Sunday. You have 2 years left before you hit the road to geezerville. Treat yourself to something special.

Happy B-Day BHC. Thank you for your 20 years of service. Hope we can still BS about the boats again, that was fun. Also we still need to play some Dangerous Waters, you'd teach me a few things I'm sure.

Thanks for the service and enjoy your birthday.

Now that you are civie again, maybe you can post all those things you harbored before that inquiring minds want to know.

An example, if you do it in an airplane at 30,000 feet you join the mile high club. What if you are a mile below in a sub????

Happy retirement, ******! Thank you for your service.

And early December birthdays suck. Only late December birthdays are recognized. Like, say, the 22nd..

That reminds me... need to find some elephant poo and a very large bag.

I know how hungry you get on the road all day.

TMI/DADT. Until recently sub crews were entirely male.

Congrats on your retirement and happy birthday.

Thanks everybody.....I still am technically not a civilian unitl 31 Jan....but I will not be wearing a uniform during now and then. It has been an honor serving this country and all of you for the last 20 years, but your true thanks should go to those vets of the Revolution, Civil, WWI and WWII they are the guys that truly preserved our freedoms.

Couple things to say here, Pardon my explosion cuz it feels so good to finally see the end of this.

TSD - Bet your ass I am off the Mother Fucking Boat......and never going back

IHF/Wino5 - as women technically dont serve on subs yet, if you're having sex a mile down YOU'RE ***!! ( Honestly you are dead as nothing we have goes that deep.)

BiTB - Nope, hair will stay short....bald spot too big for long hair

RK - You hiring?????

And before I forget, Bri, thank you, from the bottom of my heart. You keep everyone here grounded to reality. You know that I am here and available for you whenever you need an answer to any of your questions....and sorry about being an arrogant ass as you put it.......well sometimes I am sorry. But the thing you have to remember as a Chief there are two rules:

#1 The Chief is never wrong.

#2 If there is a doubt to the answer Chief gave you, refer to rule #1.
