Just wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I know some of you are not having such a good year and probably aren't feeling very thankful right now, but I still hope you will find something about the day to enjoy. Here is an Extra Big Hug for those people. Hope everybody gets to enjoy some delicious food and some special moments with family and friends. Please be careful in your travels and stay safe. Have fun shopping.

Happy Thanksgiving

My favorite teams
  1. Portland Timbers
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I am thankful this year. I get to spend thanksgiving with my new wife (and there was much rejoicing). I'm also thankful for the doubleheader of Hockey the next day: the 'hawks take on the ducks, and the Seattle T-birds take on the Prince George Cougars. A good time should be had by all.

This has been an incredible year in my life, and I am thankful for all the blessings that I have been given....

Perhaps the biggest was the announcement that my 3rd grandchild will come into the world late next spring.

And then, there's Abbie, and Bobby, and Robbie...

And then, all you guys, especially with your support of Skate

Happy Thanksgiving-I'll see some of you this weekend and the rest next weekend!

Bob

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Hope everyone has a safe Holiday weekend in the company of family and friends.

I think my wife wants to venture out for Black Friday shopping this year. Other than that I plan on doing alot of eating, plenty of naps, sports and computer games mixed in with a few honey-do-list jobs.

I intend to kill my own turkey with my bare hands on the field of battle, bathe in its blood then cook and eat it.

I tried to suggest a clam (and lobster) bake ala the first Thanksgiving and got vetoed by the wife. She's cooking the turkey boob so she gets to pick the menu, just so long as I get my Edy's Peppermint ice cream!

Oh yeah, happy turkey day everyone. Gobble Gobble

Not my thanksgiving, but oh well. I got engaged and moved to my new place this year. I'm very thankful for that.

We are foregoing my in laws this year and doing our own turkey and such. We are going to my folks house for breakfast, maybe some Mexican Train.

Azrael has visited our circle too many times this year, for sure casting a dark cover on these past few months. However, that makes you appreciate those around you more then normal, and helps you get perspective.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Trying something differnet this year with marinading/brining the bird. Wife found a recipe for a rum marinade. Sounds yummy. I've actually had a pretty good year despite a few bumps along the year and have alot to be thankful for. Hope those less fortuate than I can look forward to better times.
