With so much daylight today I can't imagine what the preparations are for the MODS when the sun goes down. That's just too many hours of day drinking for ppl like @Noonthirtyjoe who starts pounding beers af 12:30 pm, @Urblock who started mowing his lawn an hour ago and @Black Rainbow will be hitting up his toilet wine hard today.

How is everyone else celebrating the solstice?

The hardest partying places/locales that I've ever visited are Norway and Australians. Norwegians in the summer party like rock stars.

I was in the artic for the winter solstice. Hope to make it there for the summer someday.

68.178 is my farthest north summer solstice. Sleeping on a barge on the arctic ocean each night. But I was working, so the partying was not as good.
It was cloudy where I was for this solstice, so couldn't see the strawberry moon.
