I've been wanting to visit the downtown area and grab a beer there. Seems like it'd be a nice area to cruise around and check out. Also want to visit Evanston, probably because I just watched Risky Business again ha.

Weather holds up maybe I'll take the bike upto lake forest.

Anything cool to check out there besides Halas hall? Restaurants, bars?

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I live kinda near Lake Forest actually. It is indeed filled with rich people. There's a beach there that's kinda useless to go to right now, but other than that, I don't really recall much other than huge houses and lots of trees.

Yes, I have spent a great deal of time in Lake Forest. In the 90s I had friends on the team, and although I live in NJ, I flew to Chicago for most of the home games. Also one of my best friends lives there, as well as most of Bears management, sportswriters, and players. I used to go to the practices at Halas Hall there.

There is a nice pub fairly close to Halas Hall called the Lantern. I don't know if things changed, but Saturday morning is a walk through easy practice. Then the announcers covering the game, writers and some Bears players will stop in over at the Lantern for lunch. They have great food too. The place is fun at night as well. I would always stop over there with a couple of players after practice.

Unless things have changed, you should really enjoy it.
