Kane has had 2 "bad" or invisible games in the playoffs.</p>

Both games have had one thing in common. In DET...Toews took 3 straight penalties in the second period -</p>

That pretty much puts him on the bench for 7-8 straight game minutes...but probably 15-20min of time with faceoffs and whistles.</p>

Game 3 vs LA - Hawks had 4 straight penalties called on them in a 24min span. So with them being spread out, he doesn't get regular shifts/flow to his game</p>

He's tended to struggle when these type of things happen. It's something he needs to get better at...and being 24, it's something I would bet on him figuring out.</p>

Pretty good point about the penalties. Sucks sitting on the bench. You go cold, especially when you are used to playing a lot.</p>
