Hate ESPN

Does anybody else hate ESPN? I cant stand listening to their anchors, blah, blah, blah, same shit all day long. But they do have almost every sport covered; so when i can i just Mute the volume on my tv and put on some music. They never show the Chi any love, only when its unavoidable. When Devin Hester runs one back for a TD, or when DRose has a giant dunk. When the Blackhawks won the Cup, right away i turned to ESPN, to see what they were gonna do with it, and half an hour passed until they were covering it. I hate that theyre so east coast biased, when i could give two shits about the Red Sox and the Patriots. And now that they set up out in LA. I could give a shit about the Lakers and Kobe. The only show I do like is the Jim Rome show, dvr it every day. My point is they show the Midwest no love, Hate ESPN, Comcast all the way, anybody with me.

ESPN can suck on dees nuts. They need competition badly. Its necessary to watch their network but Id rather see a little variety. Fox sports sucks even more ass.

I enjoy their anchors. Especially Sportscenter around noon with Chris McKendry and John Buccigross, then Sportscenter after PTI with Jay Harris and Brian Kenny. Those four are the best pairs. Stan Verrett and Neil Everett are pretty good at night. Buccigross is the best, IMO.

3. Everett
4. Kenny

Those are the top 4 individual anchors. Everybody else is pretty meh. Van Pelt is only good on radio. John Anderson is ok. Mike Hill used to be good. Stuart Scott has never been good. Kenny Mayne is the GOAT, but he's not an anchor anymore. Linda Cohn is old.

Love PTI though. Around the Horn is pretty good still. Jim Rome is really good too. Outside the Lines is meh, Bob Ley is a weasel on it.

Wait... There is one time I do enjoy watching espn and not just for scores. Seeing Dilfer backtracking when Da Bears kick ass. And seeing our only supporter :ditka:

ESPN used to be good when they had good anchors Patrick, Eisen, Stewart Scott was Stew Scott not the shit he does now for them. I hate espn with a passion now i only watch when i have to (One of my teams is playing on it) and like others said jim rome show. All you hear about on BSPN is patriots, red sox, yankees, usc football, alabama, lakers, lebron, celtics, farve, tiger woods. Drives me nuts no midwest teams unless they do something special and they have to talk about them. They do nothing but slam the big ten, dont even talk hockey until playoff time. And when they do they only rely on melrose. I thank god for CSN i know its all about chicago teams but at least they know their shit. I would like to have a CSN National station that goes over everything.

But anymore if you are looking for a specific sport you go to that sports network: mlb network, nfl network, nhl network, big ten network.... i guess i havent checked out the nba network cause the only team i care about are the bulls and when i wanna find out about them i go to CSN.

I barely watch ESPN unless its a game.. usually if its a sports channel on here its CSN, MLB, NFL, NHL, NBA..

Heck Ive watched Dan Patrick when he came on directv 101 just because hes always been better than the ass clowns at the mothership.

Man I hate Buccigros the most hes the most annoying of em all, i cant stand even looking at him. but yeah the only reason i do watch is for the scores, but i try to avoid ESPN as much as i can. Wilbon on PTI is all about the Chi, so I hope hes on for a while. The only anchor I like is Brian Kenney, cuz he actually has a background in a real sport, Boxing, and one time iremember, he treated the shit outta Ochocinco, when he was crying about wanting a trade.

Yes, theyre bias like a motha, i think i hate them as much as the mainstrean news media. But on CSN, i thin k theyr now part of NBC sports, I was watching the Bulls game the other day, and they flashed a promo stating so.

i waited & actually watched sportscenter after the bulls beat the orlando i believe(same night the cavs beat NY & the same night san antonio punished the warm) & they started the show with 23 minutes of warm coverage & then when into 15 minutes of the NY game guess how long they covered the bulls TWO MINUTES MAX

I can't stand most of the woman they have on the network. There just annoying, don't look good, and you can tell that they don't have a clue wtf there talking about. Can't stand Kornheiser but PTI is pretty good love Wilbon, Jim Rome is pretty good too. I love Around the horn except for Jackie Mac and Plashke but i love Adande Paige and Reali. Miss Mariotti he was good. Sportsnation is the fucking shit. Best they have on there. And for the most part there anchors are annoying. Love baseball tonight with Kruk, Ravy, and Kurkjan. Olney is kinda annoying. And I cannot stand John Clayton Chris Broussard, or Kiper Jr.
