Than Miami's big 3.


Why? That team is going to be one of the softest in the entire NBA. Bosh is soft and he's proven it by not wanting to play the 5 and all that. Dwight Howard will dominate Bosh or whoever plays that 5 for them.


I like their bench BUT WAIT..........THEY HAVE NO BENCH. Who the hell will they sign? Veteran for the MLE? PUH.....LEASE. You need role players to win in the NBA and they won't have good ones. Look at all the good teams, Celtics have Nate Robinson and Glen Davis. Lakers have Odom/Artest.

You need good players who know their roles. This is like the Iverson to Nuggets move imo. OMGZ HOW DO YOU STOP TWO OF THE BEST SCORERS IN THE NBA?

Whose going to hit the 3's? Whose going to hustle and get those rebounds.

Go ahead and hate on me but I think this team could shock them in a 7 game series:
PG - Rose
SG - Miller
SF - Deng
PF - Boozer
C - Noah

Bench: Korver or Allen, Johnson, Gibson, and some other good ones.

We have $20 million to **** around with. And who was the guru that had LeBron have one of the worst games of his career? Thibs. This guy knows how to defend some of the best.

I agree... but a better example would be not mentioning much on this Boston's bench, but their championship victory bench. Posey, PJ Brown, and House was the key players helping them out. Just like Posey on Miami along with Payton or Alonzo Mourning

Well if they can somehow manage to get rid of Beasley and end up signing guys like Haslem and Miller for dirt cheap, they can basically build a winner. I keep forgetting that Joel Anthony will probably be had for the min and he can play D and rebound. Chalmers isnt great but hes viable alongside those three.

I just dont have a good feeling about it all. I dont see the Heat going all in on this without a plan of building a solid bench and getting role players.

About us vs them... We have 20M, we need to find our own players to take slightly less to contend with them. Find guys that can compete at a high level and play defense. Get Tony Allen in here to reunite with thibs. Maybe Haslem will join us. We need to create a DEEEEEEP bench with quality role players but as it stands now, all we got on our bench is Gibson.

ok the problems with that miami team

would be of course the bench. You need bench depth to win championships simple as that. Most championship teams need a great big and guard but also need players AROUND those guys. They need players that can come off the bench and play at a high level. DEPTH IS EVERYTHING. Especially with injuries. Imagine if Lebron gets injured on the hypothetical miami team(its all hypothetical,i'd imagine it'd be wade or bosh getting injured but just go with it) then they have Wade Bosh and not much else..which means one or two injuries could kill the team....this is the problem with great talent but little depth

Also as someone mentioned Wade and Lebron are good defensively...I dont think Bosh or Haslem(if he is even still on the team) could take on a frontcourt like the Lakers or the Bulls with Boozer and Noah...thats a big problem..they wouldnt get any boards

I'd also like to see how Eric Spoelstra can handle this team

He doesnt seem like a proven coach yet....and if things go not as planned...Riley might take over

kind of funny cuz it seems like Riley is still the coach lol

Yeah i hate when people say that the big3 in Boston didnt have anything on the bench. They had quality vets and some good 1st round talents in Rondo and Perkins.
