Thoughts?

BTW, as much as any hospital stay is something to be concerned about, I had heard that Q's stay is nothing to be alarmed about.

Hogs win, Blackhawks win in the same night.... seems like forever since that happened. I missed the Hawks game being at the IceHogs so I am curious if anything stood out with Havi's first win as a head coach. BTW, IceHogs give up the shut out with 2 seconds left.

There was no line juggling that I saw, and we had Bolland centering the 2nd line instead of Kopy. 1 TMM but apart from that I didn't see any noticeable differences.

Frolik/Bolland/Hossa line was real effective. Havi said it was Kitchens idea to start them.

Good win, was a great all around effort.

Yeah, Hossa was a monster in this game. His skating was superb and puckhandling like only he can do. Only thing that was missing was a goal, but if he continues to play like this that will come.

Brouwer played really well also. He hit everything in sight and caused quite a lot of turnovers from Minny. Those two and of course Craw were the main reasons we won this one imo.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago White Sox
  1. Chicago Fire
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I liked that Scott and Stalberg only played around four minutes total.

I only saw about half the game, but the real Hossa finally showed up. More games like that please! That line looked good and they had some great chances. Refs made some glaring mistakes. How is there no penalty when Hossa drop passes to Bolland but he is hog tied and taken down into the Theodore? No call. Conversely, there should have been a penalty on Hammer on his interference. Way too obvious to miss. And maybe I need to read the rule book, but how does Bickell get a goalie interference on that play. Theodore dives out of the crease as he is skating past the goal. He was well outside the crease when Bickell hits him.

I liked seeing CokePepsi on the 3rd line. That's where he belongs IMHO.

Scott was 100% at the face off dot.

Good to hear the team responded well to Havi taking the reigns for a night.

Then again, look at the roster and realize the number of them that played for him as their head coach in the A.

I call bullshit on that. Q had that line going in practice the day before.

As for the TMM the Wild were guilty of that at the SAME time. How they called one team and not the other is a mystery. Both had TMM on the ice.

Doesn't mean he didn't mention it to him in practice the day before.I would imagine the assistants get input on who to run in lines.

Kopey is a 3d line winger, not a 2d line center. I'm good with him, especially at that cap hit.

Input or mentioning something is a lot different than Q actually using the advise. I could be wrong but I've heard Q does things his own way. With very little input.
