Trading of talent definitely. Be interesting to see what Montador signs for. Given what other free agent defenseman are asking for it isn't a lock that we will sign him. Nice pick up though if we can get him signed for a reasonable amount.

I think its a good move, and a great move if the Blackhawks can sign Montador to a good contract.

How does Bowman look bad if we don't sign him? We basically traded Tomas Kopecky, who we weren't going to sign based on what he got from Florida, for the chance to get a player we could actually use. I too am hoping to sign him.

Because we traded kopecky (a player who wasnt coming back) for a draft pick which we could use

then traded that pick for nothing...

Im not saying its a collosal failure, i would just be dissapointed
