Yup, Emery is the answer. I love Craw but they both suck.

Keith has an absolutely terrible game. Directly responsible for the first two Avs goals.

Bolland played equally as bad. Constantly left an Avs player open in the high slot on 3 on 3s.

What a ridiculous number of 2 on 1s for the Avs, unacceptable.

Stalberg had a great offensive game but can't allow that blue line turnover to happen.

Thought Kane finally played with some pop.

Nice to see Kane playing for the Blackhawks again. It's been a long time.

Defense was aggressive against a young, fast team. That's a bad game plan when you're trying to tighten up defensively. I understand the desire to control the tempo and pace, but that style is not working now. Q was a defenseman... I don't know what he's thinking.

Hawks got outworked for a good portion of the game, though the Hawks were playing more physical than usual. Nice hitting for a change.

Toews continues to be targeted hard and it's taking away his effectiveness. Teams are more than on to him. He's getting mugged.

The powerplay has been an issue all year- I don't care what their league rank is. If they could fix the powerplay, it would go A LONG WAY to fix a lot of the other problems. Constantly playing from behind has destroyed this team in many facets.

Going 0-for on this road trip is looking very possible.

Salak is the answer though, right?

Because that's what you said before the season started and you were clearly right on Brunette...so you must know all!

Turn overs killed this team tonight. I'm pretty sure every skater had at least 1 turnover.

O'donnell I thought had a very solid game paired with Leddy. Had a blocked shot and made a few defensive plays. Hopefully we can get this from him going down the stretch.

Montador also left the game with an upper body injury.

Nice call on OD. He has been pretty steady lately. Lepisto/Scott shouldn't see any time over OD down the stretch here, just doesn't make any sense. Hell, it would be great if OD became the permanent 7th dman. I'd feel pretty comfortable with OD in the lockerroom and on the ice when need be if he was #7.

A lot of people are begging for Bowman to do something...well I'm sure he is trying. Takes two to tango and hopefully a seller eventually overvalues a prospect or two of the Blackhawks.

If Montador is out for any extended period of time after his injury, I really hope they play Lepisto. I don't know how anyone can make an honest assessment of the guy when he's played in just 11 games this year.

Probably not an honest assessment of how he would play if he was in regularly...but I could make an assessment based on his play so far this year. The guy handles the puck like it is a grenade.

But who skates with OD then?

Keith/Seabrook/Leddy/Hjalmarsson are your top four, in some combo. Only two guys left are Scott and Lepisto. I know who I'm taking.

OD played with Leddy last night and I thought they looked good together. Maybe a hammer and lepisto pairing could work.

Not to mention when you combine a guy with good quickness and speed with bad defensive positioning/awareness, that equals a guy WAYYY out of position. At least the slower guys, when out of position, aren't that far out of position. OD hasn't been horrid.

Last I heard was that it wasn't serious and they'll check on him Thursday.

I think that was from Comcast Sports.
