Oh you can't tell me that things didn't look bleak after game 3. I mean losing two in Vancouver wasn't the end of the world, but then turning around around losing game 3 at home the way they did didn't really leave much hope. That said it is funny how the tone has changes. Though this isn't soccer where the scores add up to determine the winner. If the Canucks just take one of the next two it is over, and they are a very talented team that is very capable of splitting the next two games.

Bandwagon fans are unforunately part of what you have to deal with in hockey since it has slipped to a distant fourth in terms of sports in this country.

Basic mathematics dictates that every time you play an elimination game -where you are the one being eliminated if you lose, = bleak.

Now if they manage to win game six, it changes everything. I wouldn't mind seeing Vancouver choking away a series and especially one that started with a 7uongo performance; then the Vanouver GM could "ask for protection from the fans." -The Vancouver fans.

Fans dont leave, they get frustrated and dont want to discuss it. Some fans after being down 3-0 after watching this team all year long have low expectations of this team, which should be expected.

thats fine, except he was here when the series started, then dissapeared until the hawks got the series to 3-2

How does that have anything to do with 'basic mathematics'?

Agreed. I'll get the pitch forks and torches ready, just in case. How many do you think we'll need, about 20 of each?

Vancouver was in a comfortable position up 3-0 and 3-1 in the series, I have a bad feeling that they will come back with more urgency (obviously) that will translate to more success. However, we have the momentum and home ice for Game 6.

Pretty simple winning 1 is still easier than winning 2.

Unless that has become advanced or honors math now.

Lots of shit can go wrong when there is no margin for error. Ask Steve Smith.Or look up Edmonton Calgary Smith scoring into own net.

All I'm saying is that there isn't any reason to get cocky about anything at this point.
