Hawks on the Tonight Show - Monday

I know this has been posted elsewhere but I thought it might have got lost in the mosh.





The boys are on The Tonight Show with Leno tonight. They all looked pretty warn out. Everyone had a Red Bull in hand and was dragging, living on very few hours of sleep.



They come out and talk with Jay for a bit, and then hang with the band. More than they did when the were out for the Olympics

and yes, I asked Duncan before leaning on the cup.

A great way to cap a coast to coast week of Blackahwks Cup craziness.

I hate Leno (Conan rules!!!) But I will watch it when it comes on here. But this is a one time exception. I would watch a show hosted by Bin Laden if the Hawks were on it. :lol:

I can't stomach him so I didn't bother because I knew just the hawks part would be posted online anyway. I'll watch it without having to sit through any parts of his show.

I know I tried to watch but Leno is so brutal I had to turn it. I'll youtube the Hawks parts. The Hawks probably think its good luck to go on there. After they went during the west coast trip.

So Dave flies into Chicago from LA for Game 5. From here he flies to Philly for Game 6.

Then flies back to Chicago for the Parade/ Rally. Flies back home to LA and then gets

to meet with the boys and the Cup! Pics included......... Very cool. Good things happen to

good people and great fans!

Quick question... how come Sharp isn't ever included in any of these events as an alternate captain? I understand why it's TKK, but I never see Sharp included in any of these smaller events... is it his choice?

Because they don't want me to have to choke even more girls for the "OMG he's sooooo hot!!1! I luuuv him!!1!" BS?



If I had to venture a guess, I'd say it's because these are 4 guys who have been there their whole careers, also played in the Olympics, and are the most popular with the fans/media. (Or he knew he'd be too drunk to function.) Being at a distance from Chicago, you rarely hear about Sharp, it's always these four, no matter what. To add some examples, in the Hawks Sports Illustrated, it's like he doesn't exist in the big articles/pictures and most of the merchandise is made solely for Toews/Kane/Seabs/Keith. RK would probably know for sure, but it seems like the team just likes to market these guys the most.

Sharpie is always overlooked, great player fast, HUGE goal in game 6 and had a career high 66 pts this year. And he is marketable as hell. Would REALLY hate to lose him this summer.



When everyone talks about the CORE of this Hawks it's always those 4 players. Given that Sharp has been on the team through the whole transition and has gotten better and better every year, it's a shame. Really nice guy too.
