Lets discuss why it has been so piss poor yet again.

Don't give me that excuse of no Sharp or Hossa. They were 26th in the NHL last season with them.

Simply no excuse for a team loaded with talent to be near the bottom again on the PP.

Currently 21st in the NHL. Hawks miss Campbell. (leave his contract outta this.)

But you can't. I would have liked to see the Blackhawks get more out of Campbell.

That said, seems the creativity has gone by the wayside in drawing up PP.

Too focused on trying to do things that they aren't. The screen game is better but not really good.

Q wants to keep that spread talent around plan over any load up. And yes you can say that is hurt by Sharp Hoss being out because few major adjustments were made for that case.

Last year sucked from worse talent and a refusal to try plays other than backdoor set up.. Because it worked all year repeatedly in 10/11 until game 7 in ot. They've rarely gone to that this year, Toews tried it yesterday but it's happened only a few times since early in the season.

And obvious reason #1. No Campbell presence since they have just 3 ways to get in the O zone. 25% success dump, Kane, and leddys speed rush.

They only have one guy who can consistently win a face off, teams have gotten into their systems again and know how to interrupt their entrances, and they aren't good at dump and chase.

But ultimately, who gives a shit--it's not like it has mattered. The PK unit means far, far more to the teams's success.

I agree to a point. Still have to be avg on the PP though.
