Not sure if this deserves its own thread, maybe it has been discussed in detail somewhere else and I'm having a brain cramp. This post/thread can be updated as the news come across. The deadline to qualify is MONDAY (where holding the player's rights will result in compensation if the Hawks choose/unable to match other teams' offers). Room still may have to be made in order to qualify some of these guys (still must remain under cap + bonus cusion).

If CBS was turned on, thanks again Rush for giving CBS the axe in this forum, it would post an article on how Bowman has stated there is no need to trade any further salary.

While there is most certainly still a possibility of a trade, it is no longer necessary to meet under the cap.

Yes, probably correct and I totally believe this, as teams are trying to get Versteeg for their price, as they're doing the Hawks a favor helping them be cap compliant.

Oh, the poker game being played right now.

I really want to see Ladd and Hammer qualified, and most definitely return despite Ladd's injury and Hammer really getting exposed in the Finals.
