2012/01/02: The Chicago Blackhawks have signed Phillip Danault to a three-year, entry-level deal. Danault was taken with the 26th overall pick in the 2011 NHL entry draft. 2012/01/02: Mark McNeill has agreed to a three-year, entry-level contract with the Chicago Blackhawks. Chicago took McNeill with the 18th overall pick in the 2011 NHL entry draft. McNeill is a big and fast forward with 18 goals and 39 points in 37 WHL games this season. He should develop into an NHL-caliber power forward, but it will be years before he has any fantasy value.
