CSN Article

“We’ve reached out and we’re gonna try to do something here,” Bowman said in the United Center’s Harris Club. “The timing is delicate and you don’t want it to become a distraction but we certainly have an interest in trying to get something done. I think he’s performed very well for us this year. Looking back from where he’s come – not only having a foothold in the NHL at the beginning, when he started a handful of games, but watching his progression as he’s gotten more responsibility, he’s risen to the challenge. That’s what you look for in goaltenders. When they get the increased workload, can they handle it? He’s kind of unflappable and doesn’t get rattled by much. I think that’s a strength of his. He’s obviously talented. He’s got the physical capabilities, but the mental side is important as well, and he’s been rock-solid for us.”

Are you implying that Comcast Sports Net is a less than reputable source?(Purple)

I see an overpayment in the future.

I see arbitration...then we lose him to the Sharks.

I really like Crawford. He's even calmer than Niemi was, but he sees what going on around him. Solid and reliable so far. I say he's do for 2.5 - 2.75 mil a year - 3 year contract? Ya think?

2 mil is max I'd give him per year and nothing over 2 years. Let him show that he can keep it at a high level, especially after the league has gotten used to him, before giving him the big bucks.

Steve Mason. Don't give a rookie big money, I think something around $2M is right up his alley.

I'm sure I'm the only person who would like to see this, but I would love resigning Crawford and picking up Ray Emery this summer to back him up

Atlanta will probably go after him, we don't stand a chance!
