The Hawks players said it was an uplifting experience. They handed out jerseys and other gear. And the cup came but I'm sure the Hawks didn't touch it. I think this was a great move. Even with a McD comment it is still a wonderful thing. It is amazing what those men and women have done for America.

No one said it wasn't. It is another needless distraction, but if you are going to have one, this is about as good a cause as you can find. So really who is going to complain about this type of distraction. I believe they did it all in one day so it's not like it's its own needless distraction.
