The Red Wings took a 5-2 victory over the Nashville Predators on Thursday night with Sam Gagner posting his first NHL hat trick in over nine years in the win. Jonathan Bernier made 37 saves in the victory, his fifth of the season. Dylan Larkin (4G, 7A) and Bobby Ryan (5G, 6A) share the scoring lead this season for Detroit.
Chicago is 4-0-0 against the Red Wings during the 2020-21 campaign, allowing two goals or fewer in each of the four games. Kane tallied his 399th career marker on Thursday night. He is one goal away from becoming the fourth Blackhawks player in franchise history to record 400 goals with the club, as well as the 10th active NHL player, ninth US-born player and the 100th NHLer to hit the 400-goal mark.
Kane is also six games away from the 1,000th of his NHL career. He shares third in the league with 31 points and with 21 helpers during the 2020-21 campaign.

Subban recorded his second career NNHL shutout by stopping all 26 shots he faced Thursday. It was his first as a Blackhawk a year and a day after he was acquired from Vegas. Since Jan. 26, Subban is 3-0-1 and leads the league with a .952 SV% and 1.44 goals-against average (min. 4 appearances).
FANTASTIC FEBRUARY
Chicago shares third in the NHL with eight wins this month. Their two regulation losses in February share the fewest in the league. Kane shares the league lead with Auston Matthews with 21 points (6G, 15A) this month.
