Hi, all. I'm new to the ChiCitySports forum. I was born in 1966, so I started being a Bears fan in the '70s. As a kid, it was frustrating to see Bob Avellini overthrow receivers by five feet; couldn't stand the inconsistency of Bob Thomas; was thrilled by Walter Payton's pass-protection skill, his up-and-over-two-rows-of-linemen-to-score-at-the-goal-line leaps, and halfback-option passing abilities; and was inspired by the toughness of Doug Plank and Matt Suhey along with Walter's. Anyway, I'm putting a special request out there to see if I can get someone who's very special to me--a friend since 1987--to the Super Bowl. She saved my life when my best friend committed suicide in 2023, and it would mean so much to me if I could make something special happen for her. Here's my story at Go Fund Me. Take a minute to read it and respond to it the way you like. Thanks for your time in advance, Andrew in Lisle: Donate to Help Me Send a Friend Who Saved My Life to the Super Bowl, organized by Andrew Smith
