Hendry said today on the radio that he thinks the Cubs can still make the playoffs. I think he was drunk, that or he's actually that dumb.

He said that if they end up worse in a few weeks, he'll have to make moves the other way, in other words, selling. He also said that if they get within 5 or 6 within that same span that they'll still have a fighting chance. And the reality is that he is right, if they buy they can leap a little and get back into it.

I think they should sell and buy. The team doesn't have any spots you can buy a starter for unless you trade first.

i say we get rid of lee before the deadline and just leave nady at first because i'm like 98% sure that he's not being resigned next year.
