Thank gawd for the youtube history channel to bask in this victory as it will be the last clip of Rodgers in a Packer uniform.

No chance he comes back now. There will be teams like the Broncos who will give him a 2 year / 100 million dollar contract.

Yeah no way. They spent 3 1st round picks on Trey Lance.
I wonder how Lance would do learning for some years behind a Hall of Fame QB like Rodgers.

I wish there were an example in the NFL to show how it could work out.

So fellas...I guess this is what they meant by "the last dance" in the offseason???
So Rodgers is going to retire for a few years and then come back and play for the Washington Wizards Formerly Known As The Redskins / WFT?

Aaron Rodgers becomes available and you think that matters?

Yeah, sure, the 49ers are going to spend three 1st round picks on a quarterback so he can sit on the bench for 3 years, and cut numerous players so they can afford the 38 year old quarterback who they just beat-and shut down-on the road? There is zero chance anyone but Trey Lance starts for the 49ers for the next two years, unless he gets hurt.

You cannot spend three 1st round picks on a player and not play him. That's not how the NFL works.

Surely you understand the difference between a player drafted at the end of the 1st round and one who a team spent 3 1st round picks on including the 2nd overall pick. Do you people even pay attention to the NFL?

Also, Favre was already there. That's an entirely different situation than signing a quarterback. Especially considering the 49ers have $11 mil in cap space.

I means do you guys really think there is even a remote chance the 49ers would sign Rodgers? Or do you just like making asinine arguments?

I like making asinine comments because it is the best way to have the assinine respond.

And you responded ...

Just kidding.
