looking around the league, you'll find few teams in dire need of a pg. You'll find even fewer teams interested in hinrich. With that in mind, would you trade hinrich for morrisson/vujaic fischer and a draft pick? The lakers probably arent going to have a high draft pick, so they might be willing to trade it. Both morrison and fischer are expirings. If salmons opts in, this could be our way of staying in the 2010 game.

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Chicago Bulls
  2. Golden State Warriors
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
I don't think many teams need a PG. Memphis, Philly, NY, Sacramento, and Lakers come to mind as teams that might like Hinrich. Lou Williams is not a PG. Evans in Sacramento seems more like a SG to me, but he can play point pretty well I suppose. Hinrich is just flat out better than Duhon, I don't care what anyone says. Fisher is getting up there in age, Hinrich could take his spot rather seamlessly I think. Conley is pretty comparable to Hinrich in terms of numbers, but Hinrich plays much better defense.

I think Memphis, NY, and Philly would do a deal for Hinrich. Maybe the Lakers.

if philly does really badly, we might be able to trade hinrich. i'm not what we would get back. evans is a good scorer. if they can move kevin martin to the 3, hinrich could be a decent fit. Ny wouldn't abandon lebron for hinrich.

The Bulls will never trade Hinrich...no matter what. He's got to be the NBA's first player/mascot.

I would trade Hinrich and Thomas for Boozer and Utah's lottery pick. They have two projected lottery picks. I'm liking Evan Turner, and Greg Monroe. Turner is a Point Forward - yes, a true Point Forward that can play some SG. Greg Monroe is a Power Forward that reminds me of Al Jefferson. Right now, I think he has to get more stronger. I don't see a guy that complements Rose at the Guard spot. I would like Willie Warren but he has the Ben Gordon syndrome according to Bulls staff. This upcoming draft has a lot of big men but we have Taj Gibson, it won't hurt to add another Power Forward if Bulls let Thomas go.

The Bulls are not going to get Boozer and their lottery pick for Hinrich and Thomas. In order to get Boozer the Bulls would probably have to add their first round pick.

Maybe we could get them to throw in deron williams too.

why would you want dalembert? he would screw up 2010. the ONLY motivation to trade hinrich would be for 2010. he's a good player. just salmons might opt in, and we might want to retain stability. fischer is a decent player. he can hit knock down jumpers. he's good defensively. he's old, and theres going to be quite a drop off. vujauic and morrisson are both crap. copmlete and utter crap. i'd rather have morrison. vujaic's contract is rediculous.

I was screaming for Kirk to be traded this offseason, I knew he was going to kill his value, Kirk has already hit his peak as a player, and he is on the down tick as a player, he got this rep as a good shooter, he is not a good shooter and never was, he is an above average defender and a an average player in general, he is asked to do too much for this team, Kirk needs to be on a team like Portland, where his role will be severly limited(distribute the ball, play D, what ever offense he gives is gravey)

That's the most perfect fit, ever. Roy is really a G. Hinrich is more of a Combo Guard. That would be great. Hinrich is effective on the ball and off the ball; plus, Hinrich can run a team.

but who guards those guys on the blazers right now? that's just a problem that every team has to deal with.

shhh...it only matters that Hinrich struggles with them...it doesnt matter at all that those 2 guys are top 5 pg's

also, what's funny is that Hinrich traditionally does very well on Tony Parker...i think the rep that Hinrich sucks on fast guards is only slightly overstated (very slightly...i dont think he sucks, but he's obviously better against bigger guys) and started with the fact that Hinrich always struggled against TJ Ford

probably b/c he's a very pesky defender that relies on a couple of grabs, holds and reaches (just like any other well known defensive player)

if hinrich is CONSTANTLY! fouling, then why has his foul rate gone down during the duration of his career?

I only can shake my head that you guys only talk about Hinrich´s shooting. Is it really all about shooting? Look at his stats compared with Rose. I know Hinrich is shooting very low percentages. I don´t say anything against that. But look at all the other stats. Rose averages 5 points more than Kirk, all the other stats are equal. So where does all that Kirk hate come from? His contract is from a time where Derrick Rose wasn´t even a topic. And a buckup PG averaging nearly the same stats as the starting PG who is supposed to be a superstar is not too bad I think!

Kirk Hinrich / Derrick Rose
PPG 8.8 / PPG 13.8
RPG 3.1 / RPG 2.9
APG 4.3 / APG 5.6
SPG 1.0 / SPG 1.0
BPG 0.4 / BPG 0.5
FG% 0.346 / FG% 0.452
FT% 0.714 / FT% 0.727
3P% 0.222 / 3P% 0.000
MPG 29.5 / MPG 32.1
