I have seen this article mentioned several places today. Don't know If anyone cares or not. It doesn't exonerate him from being the monster he was. I'm sure he only did it cause it there was something in it for him. Hess's family members were not spared.

Yeah Hitler actually had his whole unit killed and wounded around him at least once. And they had to bring in replacements to fill the ranks around him. Also there are widespread rumors Hitlers actual father was a rich jewish man who had a affair with Hitlers mother who was a servant. Talk about irony there.

As far as hitlers origins, it is funny he had his home town blown the **** up in a training exercise, pretty much erasing any possibility on tracing his true roots.
