An estate auction i was at recently at there were 2 old bubble gum machines. I thought wow, now that would be a nice thing to collect for the kids. It dont take up much space and bubble gum machines are just awesome. This bubble gum machine must be from the twenties or thirties, still has the key for the top also which i think might make it more appealing to a collector. However i was beat out on one machine but the gumball machine i really wanted i got, the bigger one with the key. I just figured it to be a nice ( hobby ) i can expand, and something else i can pass down.

Question; what do you like to collect or make a hobby of ?

Growing up pretty much anything sports related highlighted with a signed 34 jersey that I bought off a poster on the mainboard which seems ages ago. I think his name was woodenmike guy fell on hard times and was offloading lots of stuff and he gave me a pretty good deal.

Now collection wise firearms and estate sales are gold when it’s the family running it. Most just want to sell all the shit and get rid of it not knowing what they have. The ones run by the professionals mark all that stuff up so that whatever doesn’t sell after the sale they just keep it. That’s how they scam the estate.

I’ve always wanted to collect cars but just seems like a maintenance nightmare

Bears/Duke memorabilia. Framed Signed Payton jersey and signed Pro Bowl Hester 2006 jersey are my crowning jewels. I think I consume myself so deep in my work/company that - it has become my hobby.

I don't even know what I would get into if I did try. Gumball machines sounds awesome, now I want to buy one.
