Home Opener, Red Wings, Banner goes up. Can't wait to see what brokers and StubHub will be asking for those tickets.

If they do that red carpet thing, they're could be a couple hundred thousand people out there. Wouldn't be surprised if that idea gets scrapped.

Grimson I hope your planning one hell of a GDT for this one. Perhaps a graphic showing the Wings crying when the banner is going up??

They have FOUR in 11 years. I don't think they'll have any tears.

11-4 is a pretty big differential.

I agree Evan, although game #6 was definitely special.

That is a really good point! I totally forgot how awesome the Red Wings are. And what a HUGE differential in Stanley Cups. They have 11 and we only have a measly 4? WTF? That's a joke! You think the Wings will laugh when the banner goes up? Should we not even bother with the banner?

BTW Ron, I think your slipping a little bit. I have two posts above, but you only responded to one. You feeling ok?

3 banners.

Division, conference, and the greatest of them all.

That's normally the weekend of the Covered Bridge Festival in central Indiana (a whole story in itself) that we've attended for years, but we're just going to have to miss it this year.

There's a few things that I've waited a long time to see, like raising the cup and the banner. Got the first, not going to miss the second. Plus being able to stuff it up Detroit's ass, how sweet is that. Bettman finally got one thing right.

No, seriously, being from Indiana I know what that festival is, and the bigger question is, WHAT? WHY? That festival is like any other in Indiana. Just got to the blueberry or pancake fest and pretend.

Hadn't given it a lot of thought yet, but I think for that game the Sealios might be appropriate. RK's busted my balls plenty over that one, I can't believe you haven't yet. Gotta save Barker for Minnesota and the games I know I'll see you at.

Holy shit, you know about that one? I hear you about it being like every other festival.

It's just that we've been going for like 20 some years, you see the same shit and the same people every year, but in a certain sense I guess that's what I like about it. Travel 250 miles for a bowl of bean soup and a pork chop. At least you don't have to dress up like some medieval **** at the Ren fest (no offense Tbird).

What part of Indiana are you from?
