May as well make his own injury thread. Just as long as he is good to go in the post season.

Personally think the Hawks should consider buying Hossa out in the summer. The guy is turning into Marty Havlat.

Guy still has wicked skill...but, it's just been nothing but injuries since he's been here.

^^^ While there wouldn't be a cap hit (if amnesty is used), buying out Hossa would cost the Blackhawks $20mil overtime. That would be one hell of a tough pill to swallow and I think it would be a foolish move to buyout one of the best players in the game today (top 20 atleast). He has been a little banged up, but certainly no where close to Havlat. Also...if Hossa is out long term, LTIR always gives the team some cap relief.

Re: Hossa Injury News (Again)

Hossa is far from like Havlat.. When playing through and after injury Hossa still shows up as key on the ice. Plus he isn't injuring himself.

So...kinda like this?

What a great third line Ladd/Bolland/Havlat was.

really?!?!? you are fucking comparing hossa and havlat! I used havlats name because that is a player that is fragile. so what if hossa sits here and there. if he is achy sit him. this team will need him in the playoffs.

He was back at practice this week and he also no longer wearing the non-contact practice jerseys (Sharp was as well).

Got a feeling he'll be back later this week.

There's really no reason to bring him back in any sort of rush with the team still in first place.

Yup. All that matters to me is a top 3 seed and a deep run in the season that matters.

If I heard correct, I think espn1000 update just said Morin and Hayes were both sent back down. Implicating that Sharp and Hoss are back in the next game it two.

Correct, both guys have been sent down to clear the roster space (Bollig was already sent down yesterday for Handzus).

I believe Q said yesterday that Hossa and Sharp will both play Thursday. Will be real nice to have the both of them back. Can't wait to see what Kane can do with a nice supporting cast...
