"In Game 1 I sprained my MCL, so it was kind of a little difficult," Hossa said. "But you don't feel the pain as much compared to if you lose, it would be more painful."

Wow. Definitely makes me think differently about his play. I imagine if he was healthy, he would've made a much bigger impact than he already did.

I don't care what his point production was, watching him play he was our most consistent forward this post season along with Toews. He almost never makes mistakes in our own zone and he possessed the puck as well as anyone and created scoring chances for his line, scoring comes in streaks for most players and pucks were just not finding the back of the net for him. He never cheats defensively to get chances and he looked great skating in the finals on that mcl.

I'm glad he got his 'ship because that would've been brutal for him to go 3 years losing in the finals.

-and I can't believe that Campbell was anywhere near 100% --- playing with a broken rib/collarbone -now that is tough (and that was the only one that they didn't keep under wraps).

Not surprising though about Hossa ... he is pretty durable (and played last years finals for Detroit while hurt as well).

...and a tear in it. Granted I think by the time the end of the season comes most of the guys are beat up in different ways. The Championship "high" is what is keeping them from feeling the true pain right now.

I can't believe that Campbell was anywhere near 100%

In every post game interview since returning from his injury I saw Campbell wearing a heavily padded undershirt that provided extra protection on his shoulder. But I am sure almost everyone was battling injuries on the team, be it minor or major ones. With the pre season, regular season, post season, and olympics some players have played up to nearly 120 games this season.
