House of Cards Season 3

So disappointed!! Not nearly as epic as Season 2. And Underwood's wife has become intolerable.

I'm only three episodes in thus far- agreed it's not as good as the first two years. I'm hopeful it will improve.

Season 3 definitely lacked the class of Seasons 1 & 2. I couldn't agree more about Claire, what a waste of a character, turning her into a whiny, neurotic mess within 2 episodes.
If she leaves the show now, she won't be any great loss, although it will leave a big space for Frank to fill, both in his life, and politically.

Doug Stamper on the other hand, what a freaky weirdo / legend he is! =)

I'm just glad someone did a foghorn leghorn impersonation in the show. I thought the season got better as it wore on but the ending was kind of predictable. I liked the Russian president

Petrov was class, he gave no shit, and always seemed like he was up to something (which he usually was). The way he played Clare to get those soldiers killed was epic.

The season ending was a bit meh, for me, but i can't wait (already) for Season 4. I'm just glad that we didn't have another Meachem incident in this series, i don't think i could handle another one.

As I start the new season of this show, I realize just how much it's really been taken off the main page of Netflix. And I watch a lot of political shows/political docs. Has the show really lost that much steam???
