Quade said Castro is getting a few days off to "reflect" on his "lapses". Typical Cubs, I bet they took his dinner away too. I haven't been watching the past three games, so I don't know what the lapses are, but I'm guessing he just forgot to tag a runner stealing second again.

Castro was picked off @ 1st yesterday...and went 0-4...My guess is he needs a day off anyway, and Quade was frustrated w/ his lack of effort...just sending a msg...

If going 0-4 and getting picked off 1st was all it took to get benched, explain how Ryan Theriot got to start any games the past two years.
I understand giving him a day off, I don't give a shit about that, but why does everything have to be a punishment? Why not just give him a day off, instead of trying to "teach him a lesson". He's the youngest player in all of baseball, he's going to make rookie mistakes, you can't just bench him every time he does.
