I have heard mumbling that Byron Scott will probably be out as a head coach of the Hornets.

If that happens I really hope Bulls pick him up. Byron Scott would be just picture perfect coach for Derrick Rose and this young team.

I just hope that it does turn out that they fire him and Bulls hire him.

I wouldn't take him. This would be his 2nd place to be fired and I've read places that he doesn't get along with all players

You all can hate Vinny all you want but he did a good enough job in year one and we all just need to be patient. Yes things need to be fixed and especially on the defensive side but we gotta give him his fair chance.

Unless you're coaching a season veteran team the first year will always have it's ups and downs and first the players need to buy into everything which doesn't happen day one. I think the team has bought into him now and we need to see what he can build on this coming season.

This season he can add things since the team has a basic understanding with everything and the roster is more organized.

Paxson and Gar will have there end of the season meeting with him and tell him what they expect and things to be corrected. He'll also get to look back and have all this off time with the Asst going over things.

Be patient

Prior to the run the Hornets made last year, I was pretty down on him. Either way, VDN is here for at least one more year. Scott could clean up as a broadcaster.

Scott will be out as NO head coach. I could see that coming at the All-Star break. As for him as the Bulls coach, don't think that's a good idea. First off, Vinny has done a decent job, despite what most fans think, in creating a high scoring offensive system, and getting the players to value each possesion like it's the last. He's been learning on the job all season, and I would probably give him a B to B- on the year considering all the things he's had to deal with (injuries, rookie PG, big mid-season trades). Secondly, Scott is more of a Skiles-type of head coach, and as we all know, Skiles demanding style wore thin on this team after just 4 years, and it took about the same amount of time for that to happen to Scott in NO.

I like the direction we are heading right now. Just resign BG, try and trade for a big, and I think we can be a top team in the East next year. But even if the same team came back next season, I think we could be the 4th best team in the East.

Larry Brown has been fired a ton of times and is a good coach. It is very rare to have the sloan and Popovich type that stays in the same place for a decade.

Also, I haven't heard byron not getting along with anyone except JR smith and well, no one gets along with him.

Add Jason Kidd to that list too. Kidd and Scott didn't get along at all

Edit: To get fired from the Nets and Hornets while having two of the great PG in there prime isn't good to have on your resume

Kidd hated every coach he had. He hated skiles, he hated scott and I am sure he will grow to hate Carlisle. I prefer to pick someone thats less of a coach killer.
