How are bigfoot sightings/evidence still credible?

So I was watching a show on animal planet thats a series about bigfoot. These guys on here are saying things like "bigfoot does exist". Typical show like ghost hunters, where there is alot of build up where they find nothing. Even when they say "this area is crawling with sasquatches".

The thing is the "first" bigfoot evidence, like the loch ness monster (which people still search for) was an admitted fake.

Im sorry theres no way there can be so many sightings, alleged "evidence" (foot prints etc)and we never get one shred of indisputable proof. EVERY video is blurry, out of focus, grainy etc. These guys on this show just make me want to choke them, because their like....its real....sasquatch is real... um based on what indisputable evidence exactly?

Sure there are probably tons of species we have yet to discover, even mammals, the thing is its rare to find "evidence" such as foot prints, grainy footage etc first and spend years upon years never finding anything then find it. Usually we find it, then associate evidence for the presence of said creature.

When a guy on the show has been "tracking sasquatch" for 25 years as a fucking job, and has yet to get anything that indisputably proves big foot exists, that says something. Whats worse is they already have slang terms such as saying things like "Theres definitely a "squatch" out here".

I almost argued with my girlfriend about this the other day. She texted me saying "I'm scared of big foot" and I laughed and said something like "Haha, if only he was real" and she got serious about it--I thought she was totally kidding since shes a really smart girl.

Pretty much something like, "what are you talking about, I was watching discovery channel and they have these real scientists that say he exists and have all this proof and blah blah blah".... so I asked her if they caught one and she said no... so I asked if she believed there were mermaids or aliens and she laughed at me like *I* was the idiot.

Needless to say, I just let her have her moment, not even worth making her feel stupid for it. I'll just wait for her to watch another "myth" episode, maybe she'll realize they do that "scientist stuff" with every fucking myth out there.

Bigfoot is real, who do you think it is in the those "Messin' with Sasquatch" commercials?

I would like to believe that bigfoot, the yeti, and nessie are real, but that is the nerd in me that says "wouldn't it be neat if nessie really was a plesiosaur" but yeah the lack of real evidence for any of them says they aren't real

Time to get rid of her. Or send nude photos of her to me.

I was flipping through the channels the other day and it was on and I think they found bigfoot poop or something cause I heard them say that didn't come from any animal.

I wasnt asking why the show gets ratings. I was asking why people actually believe this shit. Plenty of people watch shows or listen to radio programs they hate. Its masochistic but it happens. Because people watch the show has no impact on whether they believe what they see.

They people on this show believe so absolutely these eyewitnesses are credible, and blatantly underestimate some backwoods hillbillies desire for attention.

Which would be easily scientifically verifiable because your DNA is in your shit.

Do they have a sample of bigfoot's DNA?

And on another note, is it true you are contemplating a sex change?

lol. That wasnt me it was a relative but then I thought better of posting my transgender cousins facebook(hes not yet, he just dresses and acts like a girl)

As for Bigfoot, no they do not have big foots dna. But they would be able to tell through the dna in the crap, if it was from a primate and if it was an as yet unidentified primate that did not match any known dna, their cause would have credibility.

But they wont do that, they would rather just surely say its bigfoot poop and not put it up to any scientific scrutiny.

I watched that show last night. Bugged me because they didn't back anything up with science.

They do too exist, or at least they did until recently. There's a whole cemetery filled with those hairy basterds in Harvard, IL. I drove past it visiting my step brother near Madison this last weekend.

Topics like this used to interest me when I was younger. Arthur C. Clarke's show was cool to watch, but now with nearly everyone having the ability to record events as they happen Bigfoot, Loch Ness, and even the paranormal have a bit of 'splaining to do.

I think there are better mysteries in our world than mythical animals.

Seriously, I have a shit basic phone that doesnt go on the internet or anything, but still takes high resolution photos with auto-focus.

Their explanation is bigfoots are just so smart, that they avoid heat detection etc etc etc. Yeah bigfoot must have the internet and a public library. I dont care how smart big foot is, it has no concept of our tracking technology that it would know to hide its friggin heat signature. Yeah Big foot is so scared of being discovered yet risks grabbing a zagnut off a stump when theres humans like 85 feet away.

When A bigfoot is captured I will put my foot in my mouth, but I am sorry I just dont think it exists. When you have people dedicating their lives to this shit, and countless alleged sightings The fact no hard evidence has been gathered is simply astonishing. Like a big foot corpse or at least graves. Where the F do they sleep?

Their excuse "look how elusive the mountain gorilla is" yeah, but weve found them and I can go see one at the zoo.

Ultimately I have to go back to this. The "Footprint that started it all" was an admitted hoax. Just like the nessie photo that started it all was.

I will say this, and it could be a bs story. I had one of those paranormal documentaries on while playing computer and this camper told a story of unloading his truck and a package of bacon broke open and landed on his tent and got bacon grease/fat/slime (whatever) on it. So when he was sleeping an animal was licking it, pawing at it. He woke up, thinking it was a bear he (from in the tent) smack at it figuring it would scare the bear off. Well whatever it was went into the nearby tree line and proceeded to throw pebbles at the tent for about 30 minutes.

Now that could be a made up story but bears don't throw stones.

I dont like to call people liars, but really people do it for attention. After the UFO craze started in like the 60's and shit there were people telling elaborate stories with a strait face of being taken aboard ships by people from mars(that look just like us, and wear clothes just like us) and people were believing them. Now we know nobody lives on mars and scientifically speaking it would be unlikely they would look just like us, no matter what star trek led us all to believe.

Again I dont mean to question peoples credibility but when I see people say this stuff I simply dont believe them Or maybe think in the heat of the moment with adrenaline rushing they were misinterpreting what was going on, acorns or anything for that matter could have been falling from trees etc.
