Assume it’s happening somewhere in this draft. Which one and how acquired? Pick, trade up or down.

I’ll start with a trade up in 2 to 45 with the Jags to secure Mills ahead of NE.

Trade down in 1 for same would be Pace in overvalue coveting mode.

Trade down with added value received to move up in 2 would be rather painless and depending on what drops may be optimum value..

Pace takes Mills in the top 1/2 of round 2 by moving up from 52.

I think Pace trades up to get the 5th QB that drops out of the top 10. A trade with Giants or Eagles to get Jones, Lance, or Fields. I don't think Pace waits for him to go lower than 12 because the WFT is likely thinking the same way.

I really only see the Bears drafting a QB in rd #1 if one of the top 5 falls between #10-#14 and we leapfrog Patriots and WFT for him.
The way the Bears may look at the Football Team as this looming threat to swoop in and steal their guy is how the Football Team probably looks at the Patriots. And the Patriots are no dummies, they are aware of this as much as anyone.

Extend the Red Rifle tonight for 4 years and 60 million, all guaranteed.

Draft Ian Book in the 4th as his backup.

Davis Mills in the second. Although I'm anticipating him not addressing the position at all in the draft. If Dalton works out then we'll have another later 1st round pick. If he doesn't we'll be drafting a QB high and starting him anyway.

Yup, if it happens, Pace trades up to 13 with the Chargers. Assuming Fields or Mac falls. I don't think Lance is a guy they are willing to gamble on.

When one of these QB's drop out of the top 10, trade up with the Giants, a win win for both teams.

Edit: thought this was about their scouting process.

I think Pace is going to surprise everyone and trade back after the initial QB run. Something like the 20 and ARIII for Baltimore's 27,31, and 136. Then draft OT,QB, and WR with the first 3 picks.

My guess: Bears trade down to #32, pick up an additional 2nd Round Pick (#64), & draft Kellen Mond.

Bucs have limited roster spots with every starter returning from last year and JPP is 32 years old and on the last year of his contract. They’re in win-now mode, so moving up to draft the best pass rusher makes a ton of sense for them.

Bears can’t afford to move more draft picks after they dealt so many for Khalil Mack, so trading down while still securing that 5th year on a young QB makes a ton of sense too.
