I'm not sure if i'm alone, but has anyone noticed Noah playing better w/o boozer? He just seems much more focussed and effective. While boozer was on the floor, did oyu see noah take guys off the dribble?

You're not the only one. Booz also plays better when he's allowed to have his back to the basket. Lately, he hasn't been getting good post position. I'm not sure if Noah's thumb situation still leaves him without the ability to shoot from 18' like last season, but I'm just thinking these 2 guys are clogging the lane.

I'm all for putting Boozer w/ Asik and Taj w/ Noah....of course Booz and Noah will start together...but after a couple minutes to determine matchups, make those changes.

Boozer is a good rebounder, when hes on the floor with Noah, I noticed talso. Noah wants all the boards, but Boozer rebounds almost effortlessly.

But Noahs a Monster!

That's the roundness factor. The rounder the stance, the harder it is for players to steal boards away. Booz has a lot of bulk and plays the round stance better than any PF in the league. He knows how to get low.

Noah squeezes past box-outs and gets boards. It takes a lot more effort to get those boards, but it gives the Bulls more possessions. It's kind of nice to have both styles of banger on the front court. Asik of late has been taking a round stance, and you can see how dramatic his rebounding has improved. He'll play 10 minutes and get 8 boards!

We're an outstanding rebounding team. Even rose is getting boards.

Yeah Noahs shot has definitely been affected by the injury. He barely attempts that mid-range shot anymore. Im sure he'll get it back with some more repetition.

Boozer looked like he was finally starting to get comfy with Noah the last couple games i saw before he got injured. But its going to be hard for two really good rebounders to grab as many as their used to. Im sure when Noah redevelops that jump shot it will open things back up for Boozer to start putting clowns in the spin cycle.

I think the Bulls should heavily consider playing Taj more often in the first unit and Boozer more in the second unit.

Yeah, but then Boozer will get pissed, and he'll protest that decision. I don't think we'll get quality minutes from an all-star level player at his age off the bench. He'll half-ass and become yet another player that never plays to his capabilities again. We already had Larry Hughes recently and his contract, we don't need to do the same with Carlos LOL!

Yeah, that's a valid concern.

When it comes to the Playoffs (in a 7-8 man rotation), I think Boozer or Rose should be on the court at all times.

I don't think he has a bad attitude like Hughes did, I just think Boozer is player that never lived up to his full potential. If Sloan couldn't get Boozer to work on defense, you know the rest.

He's one of the most two-faced players in the NBA. But he's also a true professional about his work, and he'll hide his disgruntled demeanor as good as any player in the league.

Boozer tell you that he's all about doing this and that, then turn around and take the low-road. I'm not complaining, as long as he continues to help this team, he can be whoever the hell he wants to be. I like Carlos, so I hope we can avoid the 'diva' side of his ego in Chicago.

People, Noah & Boozer have barely played together as is & in that little time you all want to give up on it? We're winning games. We're in 1st place. What is the problem here? This team is fine. In fact we're more than fine...we're elite. We are a better team with Boozer out there, no question. The guy's averaging 18.3ppg & 9.6rpg while shooting nearly 53%. You don't put a player like that on the bench.

I think its hard for Boozer to play with the type of player that Joakim Noah is. I think they've both done well in the limited time together. They weaknesses are covered by one another.
