I'm thinking about how awesome @DanielCCSBears is at knowing the game of football and scouting individual players and it made me wonder what the background of all of you in football.

I was an undersized nose tackle who rotated in on third down, and an undersized guard who started. Nothing special, we had a decent team. How about you?

I played growing up through high school. Played on a power house team lost in state championship game senior year. Started at safety 2 years, varsity for all 4. Chose baseball over football for college.

I played TE my freshman and sophomore year of high school. I was ok, but not good. So I just focused on track after that.

I started varsity as a sophomore for Kaneland high school back in ‘93, playing safety and back up half back. We won one game that year and only passed maybe seven times at most per game. It was all run run run play Defense. I did go downstate as a wrestler three years.

I played RB, Free Safety, returned punts and kicks for a top Northwest Suburban program.

Started on the Sophomore team as a Freshman.

Was a three year varsity starter after that.

All Conference, All County, All Area as a RB…

Played Baseball (shortstop) in college…
