Carmelo Anthony still wants to be traded. The Bulls still seem like one of the three destinations in the mix, and one of two destination that we know he'd accept a trade to. Does the way Luol Deng has played...

As as fan, of course I'm interested. Just have this feeling that unless we unloaded Noah....we won't be seeing Melo in red & black.

Melo won't come, unless they get desperate and accept the first offer. However, I think an offer of Deng, Taj, JJ and 2 1st is more than fair.

I don't see him coming here but how can't you be excited about that? The guy is a top 10 player and would allow us to get out of a bad deal in Deng too.

deng's looked pretty good in certain games and aloof in other games. melo is an improvement, and we're not sending away any core pieces like noah/rose, so i would be excited.

:obama:

Melo would be more of a core piece to a Bulls playoff team than Noah would. Jesus Christ now that Noah is effectively untradeable and locked up for the coming years people still can't help but overrate him? Ugh.

Noah is a core piece to the Chicago Bulls front office being that they have extended him. As you said, he's untradeable now.

VERY!!!

especially with all these injuries to start the season and I still have concerns with this team because I think they still lack that #2 guy, that guy that can take over a game and that guy that can put the team on his back especially when Rose is struggling or on the bench, Deng has shown flashes of that this preseason which is great but I have doubts that he can do it CONSISTENTLY

I would gladly give them Deng, Gibson, Johnson and Draft Picks for Melo, I personally don't think the Knicks deal or any other rumored deal that I have seen is better then that package

Simple & Plain......your right. The other deals just don't match talent wise in return as much as the Bulls FO would give with those three & a pick or two.

Unless your name is Nick Friedel of Espn Chicago. This guy honestly thinks the Knicks have much better assets to offer then anyone including the Bulls. Im just curious what exactly would those assets be. EDDIE CURRY!? I mean for real, you have to be blind and dumb to truely think that sorry ass team has any good players to offer.

I guess they want expiring contracts to free up money...BUT TO FREE UP MONEY FOR WHAT??? Lets be honest...NO big name free agent is going to Colorado! Hell you can't even get your Current Star Player to stay in Colorado Now, so why free up money? might as well take a Solid Player who still has potential and could probably have a break out year with another team and who is under contract for awhile so you don't have to worry about him complaining about how he wants to leave, Deng could also help them defensively, something that Denver is not know for...but hey maybe I am just Biased and want them to accept that deal so we can get Carmelo I don't know but my honest opinion is that he Bulls deal is the better deal

18pts, 19rebs, 2blks, 2stls in the season opener. Yea, He's sooooooooo overrated. Give it a rest. The guy is one of the best young centers in the league, just admit it already.

I've gone on record as saying that I'd be willing to give up Noah if it garnered Melo. If they could get the deal done without giving up Noah, great, but if they can't then there is still nothing holding me back from pulling the trigger. They want first round draft picks the next 2-3 years, give 'em that too! The Bulls easily climb right into the Heat/Celtics picture with that deal. As composed now they are the 4th best team in the east.

 Yeah, because it's perfectly reasonable to make assertions like that based on one fucking game. Go read a book or something.

Stfu, he had a fuckin opinion. You don't have to go off on him. Not everything you say people agree with and no one says anthing. However, those are stats Noah will put up. He will average a double double if he stays out of foul trouble and stays healthy.

If the Bulls were +Anthony and -Noah and -Deng then I say they would be a worse team than they are now - putting speculation about future seasons/salaries aside.
