How many wins do the Lions get next season with their coaching staff getting absolutley decimated? (No bears talk allowed)

I am going to go with 8 wins. I think Goff will look more consistently like he did in the ONE and DONE playoff appearance.

It'll be really interesting to see who was really calling the shots (and games) and whether losing two coaches matters. I can't see it being a GOOD thing for them. Guess it depends on who they hire. I think they definitely have a worse record than this year. Still going to be a tough division.

Let's see if the meatball with wood teeth can recruit, because they have a lot of talent but it's certainly going backwards imo.

They’re still a playoff team, but I’m gonna bet that the NFCN will go through the Vikings next year.

If their defense is healthy, 11-6

My favorite teams
  1. Chicago Cubs
  1. Seattle Sounders FC
  1. Chicago Bulls
  1. Chicago Bears
  1. Chicago Blackhawks
Twelve wins. This is still a very talented team and I doubt they have the injury problems that they had during the 2024 season. There will be some teething pains with the new OC and DC but this, pound for pound, the most complete team in the NFCN. Chicago has more than a couple of steps to go before it can really compete for the NFCN crown against them.

The bigger question is how will Minnesota and Green Bay fare next year. Minny either has to pay a small fortune for a QB that has six years of crappy play and one year of pretty darned good play. Or do they go with an already injured rookie (for all intents and purposes) to lead this team. Green Bay? Who knows what this team will do.

No generationally genius play caller, no DC, even the fat OL coach they love is likely to leave. They lost in a bad way when they were favorites in the NFC.

It’s a major yikes for me. They are primed for a Super Bowl - esque slump

I think he had a breakthrough with that team, he figured out he doesn't have to do everything, as he said in an interview. He figured out he just has to make the right play in front of him and when he does that good things happen. Problem is, he has shown that he gets out of that mentality, he did it against us last year (it was last year, right?) and he has done it in playoffs. And when he does that, he's incredibly careless with the ball.

If he can figure out how to not depart from that way of thinking, he's going to be fine. But obviously, he hasn't shown he can do that when it counts. Yet.

Counting the preseason? 0-20 or 0-21(if they play the HOF game)
