So far I was unable to see the NLDS at home because the basic cable here Optical Tel is not recognized by any channel's live streaming verification...even though I have those channels! We have FS1, but not the Cubs games as it reverts to FS FL crap instead.

Now I see the NLCS is only broadcast on FS1! DAMN! WTH? I can't believe Fox is sidelining this to an obscure channel &/or my cable is screwing us down here.
:cubspalm: :( :obama: :turrible:

Is there an online streaming option that won't flood me with ads, malware, ghostware, viruses, etc?

It does look like World Series will be on regular Fox at least God willing.

No way the World Series is not on Fox. But, if you have issues. vipbox.tv is a streaming channel to watch FS1

Also for future reference, you can generally just google the team names and streaming and it'll find a site. Chances are you'll get a lot of pop up ad bs but general speaking you can just close them. If you're going to do this i'd recommend ublock origin for whatever browser you use

Now I'm seeing a few listings saying NLCS is on FS1/Fox? If on Fox, we're all good.

Verification?

I'm sure at least some of the NLCS could go on regular FOX and beat whatever they have going on but maybe it's the smarter business decision to make people want FS1.

Apparently only Game 6 or 7 are slated to be on Fox

Nah, it just leads to people like me to find free alternatives to watching it in which Fox gets zero revenue from it.

It is dumb as **** to put any playoff games on cable where a large portion of the population can't see it.

If more people watched baseball the major networks would be incentivized to bid on the rights to air the games. It's hard to fault MLB here. Not being able to see playoff baseball is America's own problem.

If you have a Playstation4 you can get playstaion vue and watch the games on FS1 from there, plus you get a free trial week. Its what i did after we got rid of directv. Or as others have said, yiu can find a stream online to watch as well

Is this playstation vue thing any good? Considering using it as my tv service when I eventually get my own place.

Options to stream via the BlueRay player for bigger TV? I had the MLB online which worked with that and the computer both just fine...except it's been blacked out thinking it's available on FS1 locally.

I think I found a streaming winner...lots of popups to block and fullscreen mode seems to work:

Is Fox doing this because FS1 is failing big time and they're trying to get exposure for the channel?

I hate FS1.

That's all, just felt like I had to say it.

Yeah, being on FS1 is bullshit. So now, for the games when I don't work, I have to stream on a small tablet.

What makes me even more angry, is that I work nights and lately have 5 days a week. I traded with somebody so I have Tues/Wed off, but now I'm worried if the Cubs don't sweep, I may miss them advance to the WS. So I'm going to have to see how these 1st 4 games go and see if I can work my schedule.

But to imagine us making the Series and me having to work some of those nights, infuriates me.
