What do you guys think about how Rose will perform in the playoffs? Because I was reading Scoop Jackson's article on ESPN Chicago and one of the comments in the comment page made me think a lot and gave me more hope about beating the Heat. BTW I watched the Transformer movies but wasn't a big fan but still a awesome comment by ysyed86.

Interesting comment by ysyed86: "If you haven't seen the 2nd Transformers movie, then I apologize for possibly ruining some of it for you. But with DRose's injury and time on the bench, it kind of makes me think of how Optimus got injured and couldn't fight but the rest of the autobots had to go fight the decepticons anyway. But then in his time off Optimus gets all of these upgrades and comes back and destroys the decepticons. It'd be awesome if DRose comes back from his time off and just destroys the playoffs."

D Rose = Optimus
Lebron = Megatron

The heat look pretty bad lately. I assume they will get it together if we play them in the ECF again. But that isn't really the point of this post. Rose has spent a lot of time observing the pieces he has and what they are capable of. Someone just put an article out about how rose sitting out can help in the long run. As long as he comes into the playoffs with a healthy body he will tear it up. If the rest of this team continues playing the way they have the majority of these past 12 games or so It will be an interesting road to the finals for any east team.

First, we have to get past the refereeing obstacle.

Actually Lebron acts more like Star Scream....

Derrick Rose wil be the freshest superstar in the playoffs while his opponants are worn out...

I think he will perform well if he is healthy which is a legitimate if this time around. Last season in the playoffs, Rose struggled but that was because he was clearly fatigued from carrying the Bulls and the Bulls offense all season from the 82 regular season games to the playoff games up until the ECF.

Rose will be fresh this time around so I expect him to play well because he has that talent and that swagger.

Struggled in last year's playoffs? Not true.

He struggled in the ECF. In the first two rounds he was ridiculous.

I don't know if DRose will perform better than what he did in the first half of the regular season. The only thing I know is that there is a HUGE possibility other superstars not be at the same level as they were in the first half of the regular season. And this can make Rose look like he has one extra gear.

Rose playing well will not get us over the Heat, he needs to play like a Beast in the ECF to get us past the Heat and I believe he will.

Rose played well against ATL but poorly against the Pacers if I recall correctly. Injuries also played a role in Rose's playoff performance last season in my opinion. He suffered an ankle injury in the Indiana series and then this is not even factoring in how other Bulls got hurt too such as Carlos Boozer.

I don't think that's true. The ECF series last season was actually a lot closer than it indicates. All of those games were close and decided in the last 2-5 minutes of the game. Everybody on the Bulls played bad from what I could recall and somehow the games were that close. All the Bulls just have to do is play better and that is it. Noah, Boozer, and Rose were all banged up, the team lacked experience, and they were also more than likely fatigued.

If everyone is healthy I believe the Bulls will get past the Heat for sure. Rip and Boozer will be a big part in the ECF because whenever Miami wants to double Rose Rip or Boozer will be open.

What do you mean by playing well? For me playing well means you played above average for example Rose played well against Indiana and the Heat but that was because he hurt his ankle against Indiana and he was out of gas against the Heat. If Rose doesn't get hurt he will be deadly and will be unstoppable, IMO the team who is the most healthiest will win the Finals this year.

Depends on the match-ups. But I don't think he'll be much different that last season. So it'll be more about how the rest of the guys play when Rose isn't playing well.

I don't think he played well against Miami last season in the ECF, but yes yes well which means practically above his average is all he needs to play like in my opinion for the Bulls to get over the Heat in this season's ECF if they meet.

He played below average against Miami and Indiana last season in the post-season but played great against Atlanta.

The bulls are a much improved team this year and so are the heat. It would take a lot of things going right for us to win. Though I do think Rip is the key to winning.
