(Yeah, I know there is an OC thread, but I wanted to get a poll and talk about this guy specifically) How would you feel about Kiff Kingsbury being hired as the Offensive Coordinator?

Would it make a difference if they kept Fields or drafted Williams?

Personally I think either QB would do well in his offense.

I have a couple Homeys that live in AZ and sadly are local NFL fans. All they can say is: pls take that fraud off our hands, he the worst r3tard in a long time. GTFO.

I don't like how strongly it's worded but it would make sense to me if the move is to draft Williams. Otherwise I don't know anything else about him.

So they're not too into football? I think I remember hearing that about AZ fans back in the Greene days.

I’d take him as QBC. Pass as an OC

They could hire him right now. Make an offer etc, nothing to hold them back. Not sure how credible fanrecap is or if it’s just another way to generate clicks.

Rooney Rule is the only thing.
If Kingsbury being hired depends on Williams being drafted and vice versa that could be a hold up in making it official (assuming Rooney has been satisfied).

If CW is the guy, copy what the Chiefs have done with Mahomes - WCO with elements of Air Raid sprinkled in. I don't like the idea of running Air Raid system exclusively.

Interesting - Had no idea he was the QB coach at USC...

Everyone says OC, but wonder if they are interviewing him for our QB coach opening if we take Williams?

Perhaps, but they are more familiar with Kliff K than we are.

Ok, I took the article at face value and it states:
"Bears flew representatives to Los Angeles to interview USC quarterbacks coach Kliff Kingsbury for offensive coordinator position."

USC's website doesn't say that- It States
"Kliff Kingsbury, who has head coaching experience at both the collegiate level and the NFL, joined the USC staff as a senior offensive analyst in April 2023. "

So there is that...Not sure it means anything other than the article is inaccurate?

Can you believe they know anything if they don't know he's already gone?

Be like begging someone to take Nagy off our hands.

If this article is not just fucking around, then I think at a bare minimum, IF the Bears do draft Williams, I could see Kingsbury, NOT as the OC, but as Williams' QB coach.

Something tells me he wouldn't take that low of a position. Also... it would seem odd to hire the QB coach before the OC, when typically the OC would choose the QB coach. (Then again, that would be a very Bears thing to do.)

The article states that both Poles and Flus were included in the list of representatives.
