Howard for Bosh?

Maybe I'm missing something - but wouldn’t it make for Miami and Orlando in the offseason to at least have a discussion about exchanging Dwight Howard for Chris Bosh?

Howard is gone after next year and Bosh, under contract, would be a nice way to salvage and prevent another Shaq-type situation for Orlando.

For Miami, this is all mute if they can reverse a season-long trend against the Bulls. But, if not, they need to do something inside as Bosh is in reality more of a small forward. Basically they would just have to slot Howard into Bosh’s salary slot and extend him…

I really think teams could put up a better package that includes a lot better pieces than Bosh

If they are like Utah/Denver they will want picks on top of whatever players and Miami doesnt have very many picks left

I don't think either team could because of the next CBA.

I'd give up Booze and Noah for Howard....and maybe some picks too.
Still have Taj at the 4 and Asik off the bench. I'd do it!

So would I but I can guarantee that they'd tell us to shove Boozer and his contract ... And want Omer, Taj and Jo

You're both crazy if you'd give up Boozer, Noah, and picks for Dwight. That's just stupid. That would kill the team, why would even need to make that trade? The only problem with our roster is the lack of a legitimate starting shooting guard.

You don't want to sabotage the bench and a starting spot for Howard, trust me.

If the Heat got Dwight, they got the Championship next year.

Why would Orlando trade the best big since Shaq...to a division rival? Doesn't make any sense why Orlando would do that deal.

I have also heard rumors of Miami trading Miller for Felton that would make them even scarier

How does trading Noah and Boozer and some draft picks for the best center and maybe the 2nd best player in the game hurt your bench? He is better than Noah and Boozer combined to me...look what he did in the playoffs as the man and look what Boozer is doing as the second guy! You can move Taj up to start and Omer is one of your bench guys...you can go get a serviceable big man to play on the second unit...but Howard's a beat that plays 40 minutes a night anyway...that's a dynasty...I can't believe there is even a discussion there...

Dwight Howard, Omer Asik
Taj Gibson
Luol Deng
Keith Bogans, Ronnie Brewer
Derrick Rose, C.J. Watson

I'd have a hard time not making that deal. Especially if they are idiotic enough to not demand Deng in-return.

Ya if you have the best players and probably the 2 most important spots in the game right now thats just plain scary..

My dream would be to keep Jo and play him at the 4 the defense would be fucking scary!

Taj would be better with Howard than Noah...Noah doesn't trust his own jumper...the lane would be too crowded for Howard to be as productive as possible...

Ya I didnt think of that but I think that Jo will come back with his jumper next season he was getting good with it before he hurt is thumb

I just cannot imagine trying to go against Jo and Dwight in the middle and then rebounding holy shit

Dwight and Joakim would be the best defensive and rebounding combo in many many years. Since maybe Robinson and Duncan. However offensively, it would force Noah to learn to consistently make that 18 foot jumpshot. Personally, I think that's actually good for him since he's already a 73% free throw shooter, so perfecting that shot would just make him an actual offensive threat.

Rose and Howard would be like the anti Heat. Dominant at the PG and C positions, which Miami will be powerless to defend against. Rose pick and roll with Howard...omg...
